This is Bauble is the sister company to Gilded Bee who for the last six years have provided thoughtful gifts for business & events…. Here is our story 

Two friends who met when they moved into the same street. Emily Stone and Vicky Thomson bonded over a love of interiors and a desire to create stylish spaces in their Hertfordshire homes.

Then in 2016 Emily made some personalised baubles for her family Christmas tree, and after a quick conversation with a local shop, she found herself selling them. With her background in sales and marketing, it only took a few Facebook posts before Emily was approached by a business to make a large volume of baubles for their key clients.

In a flash of inspiration, Emily asked Vicky, a retail expert, for her advice. Bringing together their shared eye for detail and passion for design, plus decades of business experience between them, Gilded Bee was born.

Fast forward to 2019 Gilded Bee now an established business working with some of the worlds best known brands were looking for creative ways to promote their business, when an events organisation offered them the opportunity to provide a workshop as a marketing activity. After a bit of head scratching Gilded Bee decided on a bauble workshop where attendees visited a bauble station and personalised their own bauble. It was a huge success with over 100 attendees taking part, which got the team thinking. 

Unsurprisingly quite a few leads for workshops followed and Gilded Bee hosted several bauble workshops at the back end of 2019, then 2020 hit and we all know what happened then! The decision was made to pause workshops and focus on the gift side of the business, which was busier than ever. 

Finally in 2022 the world started to fully open up again and live events were booming. Entrepreneur and cofounder of Little Kits Natalie Lynn joined the team to help launch Bauble and give it the focus it deserves, staying true to Gilded Bee’s premium and professional approach with wellbeing and sustainability at the heart. 

Today Bauble is part of the Gilded Bee Gift Experience proposition with Emily and Natalie hosting the majority of the workshops personally. We’ve had the pleasure hosting gift experiences at press events, for team building activities, networking events and at corporate conferences. As well as bauble workshops we now offer wreath workshops and can develop bespoke solutions for your needs. We can also sell our wreaths and baubles as do it yourself kits and ready to hang premade personalised gifts.
